Apple Blossom News: (14-17 May)
Williamson Apple Blossom Festival Committee is happy to announce that the theme for 2009 is “50 Years of Apple Blossom – Thanks for the Memories”. There are 50 years of float ideas to choose from. For a complete list of previous themes, please visit the Festival website at http://www.williamsonappleblossom.com/. This being the 50th year of the festival, the committee is requesting anyone with a memory of past festivals to share it. You can visit our website and choose the New Memories link on the left. Pictures and memories can also be mailed to P.O. Box 206, Williamson, NY 14589. Please also contact us if you have suggestions about past festival events that you would like to see revisited. With 50 years of history, the festival has touched thousands of lives and made thousands of memories for both current and former residents of this area. Please take a moment to share them with the community.
Williamson Apple Blossom Festival Committee is asking anyone with property that may belong to the festival to contact them. In past years storage has been limited and many kind people have allowed items to be stored in garages and barns. The committee would like to compile a complete list of items that can be used in the current and future events. Please contact any committee member or use the link above if you have items or know where any are stored. Thank you all for your support of the festival and mark your calendars for May 14-17 for the best Williamson Apple Blossom Festival ever.
